Today we have the loveliest, most inspiring bathroom remodel to share. This particular client had an outdated bathroom in their 1930s home that needed some major upgrades. The final results are truly striking, you won’t believe it’s the same space! The dark, closed off bathroom was transformed into a bright and airy room with a modern aesthetic and a completely peaceful vibe.
The client had been hoping to remodel this old bathroom for quite a while. As you’ll see from the before photos, this project was a big one, which only made the payoff that much more rewarding.
When you’re finished admiring the photos, don’t forget to check out the client’s video testimonial below which have already attracted a lot of attention on social media after being shared by our friends from The Marketing Heaven.
Before
To get a feel for what we were working with, here are a few before photos of the client’s old bathroom.
After
One major decision that made a big impact was removing the old tub and replacing it with a large, spacious open shower. This single design choice made a world of difference in the overall feel of the space – instantly making the entire room feel larger. The sleek glass doors are not only modern, but really show off the beautiful tile work inside.
The client opted to mix a few different tile design elements, rather than sticking with one pattern, which turned out absolutely beautiful.
Another important omission was the floor-to-ceiling divider wall between the toilet and tub. Opting for a half-wall made for a much more seamless flow throughout the small space.
The new cabinetry and fixtures are striking, modern, and beautiful – but they’re also supremely functional – a must in a small bathroom. Check out the ample counter and storage space in this beautiful vanity.
Client Testimonial
Here is a video testimonial from the client, where they give a bit more backstory about the project and share their experience working with HomeTech (spoiler alert: they loved it).
Here’s a look at those 1930s pipes she mentioned. Yikes!
Discoveries such as these are not uncommon in home remodeling. One of the benefits of working with a Design & Build firm is that we are a full-service remodeling firm. We bring our own plumbers, electricians, architects, designers and other contractors. Rather than having to hassle with calling in a plumber and coordinating working with two separate businesses, HomeTech will take care of all the details for you – saving you time, stress, and ultimately, money.
The client shares more about their experience with HomeTech:
We sought to remodel our bathroom that was 25 years old and in bad condition. We found HomeTech on Angie’s List and after interviewing other companies we decided to go with HomeTech. Their price was very competitive with the others. However, the more important aspect for us was the trust that we felt from Moses, the project manager from HomeTech. Another plus was the designer services which were not offered by all companies. Everyone from HomeTech was very professional and experienced in their various domains. The demolition took about 3 days; thereafter, the HomeTech team kept us informed about project schedule, availability of materials, potential delays, items needing additional work, and city inspections. We appreciated the quality of the construction, attention to detail, excellence of the workmanship, and the recommendations we’ve been given. They brought to our attention the poor condition of the pipes from 1938 that really needed replacement. HomeTech completed this part of the project, as well, providing us with new piping throughout the house. HomeTech has given us a dream bathroom, which undoubtedly has increased our house value. Deserving of special mention are project manager, Moses; designer Alon; construction manager, Tino, with his crew of Miguel and Chef; and Victoria who kept all informed and coordinated. We would definitely recommend HomeTech to anyone with a remodeling project.
Another beautiful bathroom remodel in the books. Is yours next?
